SpinGo Terms & Conditions
Welcome to SpinGo—your trusted self-drive car rental partner. To ensure a smooth and secure rental experience for everyone, please review and follow the terms outlined below:
1. Booking & Fuel Policy
Minimum booking duration: 2 hours. Shorter bookings are not permitted.
Fuel return: All vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as when handed over to the customer.
Extra fuel? You'll be refunded the difference.
Less fuel? The amount will be charged based on current fuel prices.
2. Vehicle Breakdown & Damage
If a breakdown is not your fault, you will receive a refund for the unused portion of your trip.
If the breakdown is due to your actions, you will bear the full repair cost and any associated damages.
3. Drop Location & Delays
Incorrect Drop-off:
A recovery fee of ₹2,000 to ₹10,000 will apply depending on how far the vehicle is from the designated return location. Towing charges will be additional.
Late Return Charges:
Delay beyond the scheduled time will be charged as follows:

4. Traffic Rules & Overspeeding
You are responsible for all traffic or parking violations. Failure to settle fines within 30 days will attract a ₹500 late fee.
Overspeeding (above 125 km/h): ₹2,500 + any applicable government fine.
Excessive speed (150 km/h or more): Immediate account suspension.
- Daily Kilometer Limit:
- Local travel: 150 km per day is allowed.
- Outstation travel: 300 km per day is allowed.
5. Cleanliness, Fuel Errors & Key Loss
Smoking inside the car: ₹1,000 cleaning fee plus any damage charges.
Wrong fuel usage: You’ll be responsible for the full repair cost.
Lost key: ₹2,000 fee. If not returned within 3 days, you may be charged for full replacement.
Lost documents:
o Insurance: ₹2,000
o RC card/license: ₹10,000
6. Accident & Damage Protection
You must select a Damage Protection Plan during booking:
Standard: Lower upfront fee, higher deductible.
Peace of Mind: Slightly higher upfront, lower out-of-pocket if damage occurs.
In case of an accident, you’re liable up to the coverage limit. Note: If you're found driving under the influence or allowing an unlisted person to drive, you’ll bear the full cost.
7. Cleaning Charges
o Minor cleanup (e.g. car mats): ₹500
o Full dry-cleaning (e.g. pet hair, spills): ₹1,000
8. Tolls & Delivery
All toll charges during your trip are your responsibility.
Home/Airport delivery: Available at select locations for an extra fee. Delivery starts 5 minutes before your booking time, and pickup is within 30 minutes of your end time.
Booking Policies for SpinGo Users
Cancellation:
o 0–6 hours before trip: No refund
o 6–24 hours before: 50% of rental + platform fee
o After trip start: No refund
Rescheduling:
o Not permitted within 4 hours of the start time.
Extensions
- For extensions over 12 hours, request must be made at least 24 hours before the booking ends.
- For extensions under 12 hours, request at least 10 hours in advance.
- If the car is already booked, extension won’t be possible. However, an alternate car of the same category may be provided, subject to availability.
Mileage & Charges:
o Your package includes a defined number of free kilometers.
o Extra distance is billed every 30 minutes based on excess km rates.
SpinGo Host Program – Terms & Guidelines
Are you listing your car with SpinGo? Here's what you need to know:
Provide clear, updated vehicle details and images
Your vehicle must be registered, insured, under 7 years old, and exclusively listed with SpinGo.
A GPS tracker must be installed. Tampering is strictly prohibited and may result in suspension.
SpinGo deducts a small facilitation fee; payouts are made weekly after a 3-month initial period.
Each booking operates under a formal Lease Agreement. SpinGo acts solely as a facilitator and does not insure or own vehicles listed on the platform.
Summary
